I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.8 and when I select something that I want to print from an article on the web I lose the first one or two lines at the top of each page, there is also a cut off of some lines at the bottom of the pages, I've checked the print settings, paper size etc and all are ok.

Upgrade your browser to Firefox 9and check

I upgraded but the problem remains. At least with Firefox I do have the option to print a selection even if it mangles the top and bottom lines. With Safari or Chrome I have no option to print a selection. At the moment the only way to get a complete copy of the selection is to copy to openoffice etc and print from there.
