Since upgrading to 8.0, when navigating between screens, my computer display goes black for 1 second before the screen is repainted. This happens regularly and is a major annoyance. It simulates a power failure. It does not happen with IE.

Here I answer my own problem: I upgraded my Display Adapter and the problem appears to have gone away.
