I would like to delete a bunch of bookmarks from my bookmark toolbar. Help instructs me to select Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks but no window opens.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I renamed places.sqlite and reopened FF but still can't get a Show All Bookmarks window.

Any other ideas?

Do you have the latest SQLite version for your OS installed?

You can check that via the software update.

I did a combination update to OSX 10.6.8 and now it works.
