Ever since I loaded 4.0, I keep getting re-directed to unwanted web sites, and I can't close some websites. I would rather run the older version.
Every time I access a web site, I get re-directed to random web sites, that have nothing to do with what I am trying to go to. Also I can't get the current website that i am using to close.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
