how do I stop getting redirected to:<( http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/nclk )> when I try to do a search with google? is it a firefox thing or a google thing?
when i try to search something with google, I get redirected when I click on a resulted site. (example: search for vibram) the first response i get is www.vibramfivefingers.com, but when i click on it i get this (( http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/nclk?sa=L&ai=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.vibramfivefingers.com%2F )). How can I stop this and is it a firefox thing or a google thing??? things

I think I fixed this. Here is a link to a long set of diagnostics where they finally figured out a guys problem with this same issue:

If malware is suspected, there should be no need to use paid for tools to remove it.
