I have set the spam to be auto deleted like in 3 days but it never does.

I have set the spam to be auto deleted like in 3 days but it never does. I have to manually delete them. Any fix for this?

Just out of curiosity do you have the SPAM folder set to be checked frequently of only when you open it (the default in IMAP) as the latter would leave you thinking you had to do things manually

If it is only checked when you open it then it will look like you have to do it manually. Right click the folder, select properties and ensure include this folder when getting new message is selected. Otherwise, nothing that goes on in the SPAM folder is really automated in a time based way, only in an on access way.

Thank you I looked at how the Properties was set. Most were not checked, thanks for the hint. But I had several that were checked and almost one month of Spam still in them and they were set to be emptied in 1 day. What can cause this?

Thanks for your help and reply. Doug Ison
