157 COLORs?
So that I don't uninstall it right away, I need instructions on how to disable this extremely ugly color scheme and design. Does Firefox want to lose its last remaining users to Chrome, too?
Why would something like this be changed without my consent? That's probably the biggest insult I've ever experienced.

Hi
You can install a theme of your choice that you like from https://addons.mozilla.org.
NO, I don't want to install anything. If I want Barbie, I'll install Barbie. Now I have Barbie without having to install anything. What's wrong with you guys?
You guys can't choose a color? Check img below.
Yeah, why the disgusting pastel palette? How do I get the main bar at the top (where the tabs live) back to light gray?
I totally hate this new look. I don't want a gradient across top. I just want it to be a single color tone. The browser shouldn't try to be the center of attention -- it's a tool to get to the center of attention. The browser should be almost invisible while I'm working with it.

No, I can't, and even if I could, the ugly design would still be there. Why is my browser forcing me to use this childish design and these colors? I just hate it so much...
Thomas,
I found that we can change the gradient by putting "about:editprofile" in the address bar. But it's still a gradient with crappy pastels. I changed my to Ash because it's the least pastel-like. There's no way to change it back to a single color-tone across the entire thing.

Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers. When a Mozilla employee jumps into a discussion, you'll see the Mozilla Staff label next to their name.
If you wish, you can leave feedback for developers on the Mozilla Connect website. Click the Firefox Menu
button in the toolbar, click Help and select Share ideas and feedback…. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback is collected by a team that reads it and gathers data on the most common issues.
You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.
Is it possible for us to fork the project and create a version without the “kindergarten” design? I mean, they barely have any customers left (3%), and then something like this—it's just ridiculous.

Hey Paul, thanks for the reply. Unlike you, I don't want to have to spend so much time worrying about how my browser looks. Or having to follow “instructions” to leave specific feedback somewhere.
If it's still like this in the next version, I'll uninstall it and never come back—it's that simple.

Thank you for your feedback - I recommend that you leave that on our feedback site.
Thank you.
What's been working well so far is:
about:config
browser.nova.enabled = false
I swear to God, if they take away my ability to disable that, I'm going to lose it.
WARNING from the moderator team: Changing Firefox preferences from the about:config page can sometimes break Firefox or cause strange behavior. You should only do this if you know what you're doing. Please read Firefox advanced customization and configuration options to learn more.

I would not recommend using that about:config preference as it is expected to be removed in a future update.
