Have you enabled private browsing? It will delete history. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/private-browsing-use-firefox-without-history
No. It shows:
- recently closed tabs
- recently closed windows
but not (anymore):
- open the last session.

In recent Firefox versions, the “Restore previous session” option is still available, but it may look different or be disabled depending on your settings.
You can check this:
- Go to **Settings → General → Startup**
- Enable **“Open previous windows and tabs”**
Also note: if Firefox was closed normally (not crashed), session restore may not always trigger unless this option is enabled.
If it still doesn’t appear, it could be due to an update resetting startup settings or a clean profile.
I know what you mean, but 'i don´t want to open the last session automaticly' !! I want to have the option ! It ALLWAYS worked. And yes, it is possible when i click click Chronic -> recently closed windows. There are stored the last few sessions, but it allways opens it in a new window (so stoopid). Cause then i have to close the emty window. So many unnecessary clicks ! This is really not what i want...
Hi,
This option is still available:
- In the Firefox menu (History > Restore Previous Session)
- In the menu bar (History > Restore Previous Session)
If it doesn't work for you, that would be a different issue.
