Hi, I got a message the browser was updated and a VPN option added. The instruction said there would be a button on the toolbar, there wasn't. It then said if not, go to customize toolbar and add the button. However, there wasn't a button to add from the selection. So what's up??

Well that's a useless response, you just sent me the exact article I wrote to you saying was incorrect. Perhaps you could actually try to read the question and provide a solution. Sending me the exact same article that I wrote to you about doesn't fix a damned thing.

The about:config preference browser.ipProtection.enabled controls if the VPN button shows up or not. Most likely it's set to false. Toggling it to true should turn it on. Apparently it is on a progressive roll-out.

Here's a Reddit thread that talks about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1s2ik4l/introducing_firefoxs_builtin_vpn_ip_protection/

On mine, the default value is false so it doesn't show.
