How to stop firefox opening many previous tabs on start. Have unticked "open previous windows and tabs" and restarted several times over days and days.
Firefox is repeatedly opening many "previous tabs and windows". I looked for solutions on the Help and online.
I unticked the box "open previous tabs and windows" days ago and have repeatedly restarted Firefox and my computer since then. I have done all updates. I am using Windows 11 on a Lenova T480s.
I am over this and will switch to another browser soon if a solution accessible to me (ie I am not a techie and I don't have money to pay someone) is not offered.
Please note I find my browser history useful. I don't want to delete this on the routine off chance it may solve this problem that Firefox have invented.

Hi Denys, Thanks for responding to my question. I have tried troubleshooting mode before and I just tried it again. Firefox told me it was opening in troubleshooting mode. All the previous tabs were opened once again. So yes the issue persists in Troubleshooting mode. Thanks, Hera
