Using Address Books for Group Mailouts
I have created several address books in Thunderbird for my contacts. How can I add all the names in a particular address book to one of the fields such as Bcc without having to add them individually?
Thanks.
I am using version 147.0 (64-bit).

No, a contact list (or 'mailing list' ) is a subset of an addressbook. To the right of the 'new contact' button is an icon to create a mailing list. That will appear under and indented to the addressbook. You can copy to the mailing list from the addressbook. Then, you can use the name of the contact list in the TO line of an email.

Create a contact list and add them to that.
Thanks for your reply David.
I have been able to add new contacts as they arise and seen how to add these to a particular address book. If I open a new message, can I add all of the names from one of my address books at the same time? Is that what you mean by "contact list"?
Aidan.

Thanks, David for claryfying all of that. Aidan.
