What happens when you try to open an email? Is there any error message?

Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox?

hello. thank you for your help. when i tried to open an email i got a message at the top of the screen saying 'loading' and then nothing happend. however i played about on the computer and the situation returned to normal eventually. regards. philip.
