password reset,/reminder
Thunderbird solutions don,'t give answers just the problems people are having it's so frustrating all I want is either a password reminder or reset , simple you may think but no Thunderbird make it difficult to contact and many just like me are going around in circles, please send me a reset via my e mail [edited email from community support forum] I've got my fingers crossed!!

I don't understand your question. If you are trying to change your Mozilla account password, here is an article telling you how.

If you are trying to change the password for your email account, you can't do that from within Thunderbird - you have to go to your email provider's web site to do that. You can then, knowing with your new password, change the stored password within Thunderbird to agree with it.
Please be more specific as to what your intention is and we can give you some more details. If you're looking to change your email password, tell us what version of Thunderbird you're using, what your operating system is, and who your email provider is.
Hello, the problem is simple I wish to install Thunderbird on my new tablet but have forgotten my password so need a password reminder or reset. Regards R Lilley.
If you need to reset your email password, you have to go to your email provider's web site and do it there. We cannot help you with that.
