Hello,

I have noticed an issue with the download process. Perhaps it can be easily fixed. ( Is this the right place to report? )

Downloading a duplicate of a .tar.xz archive results in a corruption of the name extension, as the suffix should be placed one dot before;

ie. "fileName(2).tar.xz" and not "fileName.tar(2).xz" ;

It actually seamed a couple of times to be a corrupted download.

Thank yoouu

Try downloading Firefox from Mozilla. Download, unzip, and run firefox-bin from the folder and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release You can also try your OS on a live usb stick to see if you have the same issue. Also, try a different browser and or desktop, but I'm not able reproduce the issue.
