I have not been able to set a sync account,It keeps saying unspecified problem when i enter the required info
I fill out the e-mail address and put in my desired password when I submit I get the red statement above

In case of issues try to log in to the Firefox account via this website.
it doesn't help as If i reset a password it says I will lose all my saved info.,not something I want to lose.
Hi, confusing, your using statements like you have never Synced anything before yet also make statements like you have.
If you are not Syncing 2 or more other systems of laptops/phones/pads/desktops and using it for a Backup Service then that is not what Sync is for.
If the above statement is wrong please let us know.

If you have never used Sync (i.e. this is the first time you use Sync) then there is nothing to lose with a password reset. Using Sync is optional and if you do not have other devices to sync then you can skip this step. Keep in mind that Sync isn't meant to be used as a backup.
