The "Local Folders" in Thunderbird are folders that are saved only on your computer, and not on the e-mail server. This is different from the IMAP folders for your e-mail address, where the folders and messages in them are on both the e-mail server (your webmail), and in Thunderbird.

Please post here your Troubleshooting Information from Thunderbird: Thunderbird menu: Help: Troubleshooting Information Click the "Copy text to clipboard" button. Paste (Ctrl-V), the text into your response here.

Please also post here a screenshot of your Thunderbird window showing what you see, that the "Local Folders" are missing. How do I create a screenshot of my problem?
