Sorry you are having a problem with that MegaBackup. I suspect you got Firefox from a 3rd party website which included that 'extra' with their Firefox download. When you get Firefox directly from Mozilla you don't get extras like that. Stuff like that has been happening to Windows users for a couple of decades, but just recently on Mac OSX.
