Some E-Mails sent to me do not show up. They are not in the INBOX or in the Trash Can. What problem do I have? In particular if they were send fom a MACJuergen
Over the last several months I do not get E-mails which are send to me from people that are MAC users. I am using Window 7. My wife's computer uses VISTA and she receives the e-mail which I don't.
What could be wrong with my computer, setting or providor?
Thanks in advance

The wife's account is not totally irrelevant. It is possible that she demonstrates what happens when the providers spam filter is turned off and hid what occurs with it on. But Yes, this is almost certainty a mail provider issue. probably a spam setting.

log into your providers web mail and see if the mail in in a junk or spam folder. Those do not get downloaded if you use POP mail.
My computer with a Window 7 operating system uses POP for downloading e-mails and so does my wife's computer which is a VISTA operating system.
Difference is she will get the e-mails but I do not get them at all and she has the same POP provider as I have. There must be something else that is stopping the e-mails from showing up in my INBOX on my computer? We have narrowed it down that it always pertains e-mails that were send by a MAC user. Why is that happening to my computer not to my wife's computer??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check your account at your providers web mail site as Matt suggested? POP email only downloads message from the Inbox on the server. If the missing messages are being directed to another folder on the server Thunderbird cannot download them. Then you need to work with your provider to figure out why these messages do not go into the server Inbox. The operation of your wife's account is irrelevant.
