While viewing a small movie on YouTube the Firefox crashes when you move the cursor of the video. If you want to fast forward or go backward and you move the cursor of the movie manually few times then the movie stops and everything is frozen except the sound. You cannot close the page. I cannot close Window. I cannot stop the program. The task Manager does not start after Ctl+ alt+delete. I can only Log off and start again. I use Firefox 7.0.1 and Windows 7 The following site is just an example.

Upgrade your browser to Firefox 8 and try

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
