Duplicate Bookmars

Hello, when I first started using Firefox, I noticed (and liked) it did not let me create duplicate bookmarks

Example if I saved a bookmark in folder FOO

But then re-saved in BAR

The FOO bookmark would "disappear", be removed and be the only bookmark in BAR

How can I get this functionality Back I am using SYNC, I've sen complaints that SYNC duplicates Bookmarks. Is there a way to avoid this?

Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.

  1. Shockwave Flash 12.0 r0
  2. Shockwave Flash 11.7 r700

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove all (older) version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and (re)install the latest Flash player.

This is just unacceptable. When using the sync ALL the bookmark duplicates I deleted ARE BACK.....Arrrrrrrrrrrrgghhhhh...Good grief instead of trying to change for change sake how about just minor tweaks for speed and reliability???

I just installed duplicate cleaner and after signing back to 'sync' it found 23,437 duplicates this is INSANE!!!!!!

AND Xmarks DOES NOT work with FF anymore even when signed out of the FF Sync mode. FF just becomes immediately unresponsive.

It appears that for this to perform so poorly it seems that FF is allowing Xmarks to crash so FF can get more 'Sync' users but now that is a epic fail as well.

The more improvements FF makes the more it pushed me away to look for another browser. At this point I don't care if other browsers are slow if it means not spending an hour to clean up the book marks...!!!
