I am using Sony Xperia Z tablet, Android 4.4.2, Firefox for Android 30.0. I have installed Bluhell Firewall, Desktop By Default, Ghostery add-ons.

When I follow the instructions to remove bookmarks, the bookmarks are not removed. My version of Firefox seems to have a glitch. Any ideas what the issue might be?

Here's what I do: I go to my Firefox home screen, scroll down the list of bookmarks, select item to remove, touch it, get a menu, none of the menu options work e.g. open in new tab, edit, remove etc. Nothing in the pop up menu works. Once a bookmark is made it seems to be permanent.

The only option for editing seems to be uninstall Firefox, reinstall, set up bookmarks you do want to keep.

This looks like a bug.

Please advise on solution.
