Mozilla will shut down Pocket’s services on July 8, 2025. At that time users will no longer be able to access the Pocket website, apps and API. You can export your saved items and API data until October 8, 2025 before they are permanently removed. For more information, see this article.

This might be what you're asking about. I have an HTC device with Gingerbread. When exiting or going home from some applications -- and Firefox more than average -- the home screen reboots (white screen with green HTC). I'm not aware of a solution for this. Some people have suggested using a different launcher. You can find more information on the above forums.
