I do not want to install the remote features, how do I by-pass that section and just get to my e-mail account?

when I try to sign in to my hotmail account I only receive a notification to download an app that will allow me to use remote devices. I do not have any and only want to access my hotmail E-mail. How do I get to the sign in portion for E-mail?
