This morning Firfox displayed a message saying a security update was available. I clicked on the button to start the update and was then told that one of my add-in was not compatible. I acknoledeg the warning and initiated the update.

Firefox closed down, and then nothing. No download, no update, and no more Firefox! The firefox icons are still there, but the program is gone.

What do I do now?

Try restarting the computer as a first step. If it doesn't help, see
