I want to move some bookmarks to my douments to put on cd. How do I do that using 8.0.1?
I did manage to get them to json. but they defaulted to adobe reader and would not open. All I want to do is move bookmarks to mydouments and then put them on a cd. Why is that so hard. I never had that problem before I update to 8.0.1. Please explain the answer to this in step to step, and in plain english. Thanks

That is OK. You can restore bookmarks from a JSON backup in Firefox. Other programs can't handle that format, so do not try to open the file with another program.
If you ever need to restore a JSON backup then go to the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) and go to Import and Backup > Restore.

I thank all of you for your help. I understand that the bookmarks are saved in a json file, and can be restored.....But I save a lot of bookmarks and every once in a while I like to move them to Mydouments and download them to a CD to keep and go back to them anytime. Isn't that possible anymore? I used to do that all the time. Does anyone have a way to do this? Thanks Sandypants
