Hi,

When searching with the Google Search Bar in the upper right hand corner of the browser, and the Location Bar my search results appear up on the "www.google.co.il" website. I would like this to default to either Google.com, or Google.co.zm [Zambian site].

I have completely uninstall Firefox 4 and upgraded to Firefox 5 losing all of my bookmarks and customizations, with no luck. The 'Bing', 'Yahoo' and other engines work fine, so I presume its a setting that was changed and not a virus [also because it takes me to an official Google page]. Also, my homepage searches work as they should.

I believe the page it brings me to is Google in Israel, I am currently living in Zambia, Africa and on occasion the web service is bounced through Middle Eastern providers, so that may be a clue.

Understand that I am not extremely technical on a computer [I can hold my own BUT I'm sure I can really screw it up if I wanted] so if I need to adjust host files [or something] I will need and appreciate step by step instructions. I am on a HP laptop using Windows 7 [64bit].

Thanks in advance, I am really at a loss.

Craig M.
