When I click on a pdf file link, I don't want Google Docs reader to open it because it does not support pdf fill-in forms. I do not know how to disable this in Firefox.

See https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Opening+PDF+files+within+Firefox

You can use the method shown to change it to use Adobe Reader, Acrobat or another PDF viewer.
