How to open new tab with mouse 3 instead of new window
I used to be able to open new tabs simply by mouse 3 clicking on links. Now on Firefox 4 it opens a new window, and if I click multiple links, it opens this new window, and fills it with tabs. WHY? it makes no sense.
I want to be able to tab links on same window im currently surfing so i.e. Im reading some internet news, and I tab all interesting topics I want to read, but now it doesnt work because it keeps opening the new window.
Can anyone help how to change this behavior, in preferences menu it doesnt matter how i select tabs to behave.

There is a hidden configuration setting for how the middle click should behave. Yours must have been changed somehow. Try these steps to change it back to normal:
- Type
about:config
into the Location bar. - Type
browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick
into the Filter text box on that page. There should then only be one preference listed, and yours should be set to false. - Right-click on the preference and choose the Reset option.
Once you've done that, middle-clicking on a link should open it in a new tab. Hope that helps.
Thanks for reply, but it suddenly works again. :S
