The passwords are stored in signons.sqlite in the profile folder. They will be encrypted so can not be edited. You can use the Saved Password Editor add-on to create and edit entries in the password manager.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did what you suggested, downloading the add-on, and it worked fantastic. It is a great piece of software. You have been a great help and I thank you profusely.

Using the Saved Password Editor may be overkill for most users. The quickest way to manipulate saved passwords in Firefox is on the menu bar go to:

Tools -> Options -> Security -> Saved Passwords -> Show Passwords
