i have lost the firefox start page. can it be retrieved?

I did a registry clean and repair and the Firefox and Google search were replaced with ask. I got Goolge back but I can't Firefox start page when I open Firefox. Windows XP system

You ended up with Ask after you did the registry repair? If so, I would suspect that repair program as being the cause of that Ask malware ending up in Firefox.

Have you tried resetting your Homepage?
