Just started using Mozilla-Firefox. When i start pc firefox opens page with yesterday's data- e.g.currency rate- and I have to press refresh button to get the new rates. How to set Firefox to get fresh data every time I open the remebered page?
In Opera I was typing:'about:config', enter, then in Disc cache I was marking 'empty on exit' and 'save'. How to proceed in Firefox? Pls advise.

You can use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the disk cache if you exit Firefox.
Tools > Options > Privacy : History: [X] Clear history when Firefox closes > Settings : Cache

I don't think this is the answer we're looking for. We should be able to set the browser to refresh page every time visited.
there must be a set refresh rate .. .. and it isnt fast enough, even if u clear history, cookies, defrag drive and registry, reboot.. it wud be if were were still in the days of my kaypro v20.. but even tho this isnt the fastest machine.. IS THERE A PLACE TO INCREASE THE REFRESH RATE??? tired of constantly having to hit 'f5'
