momentarily I have a folder "Thunderbird emails" in the Thunderbird root folder. Question: does this folder not rather belong int a Profile folder?

'Thunderbird emails' is not a recognised system folder (in the English set up). I also don't understand what you mean by the 'Thunderbird Root Folder'. Is this in the main interface or the Profile folders?
