HELLO, I AM UNABLE TO OPEN MY GMAIL ACCOUNT AND SOME OTHER SITES LIKE YOU TUBE. ANOTHER THING IS I DON'T WANT TO SEARCH ON GOOGLE, I WANT TO SEARCH ON FIREFOX, HOWEVER WHENEVER I OPEN FIREFOX THE SEARCH BAR SHOWS 'SEARCH WITH GOOGLE'

KINDLY, LOOK INTO THE MATTER AT YOUR EARLIEST. THANKYOU AND HAVE A GOOD DAY.

Hi there!

Firefox is not a search engine, it's a web browser. It is similar to Chrome -- it browses the web, but it uses a search engine to actually search for things online.

Google is the default search engine on Firefox. If you'd like a different search engine, you can go to the address about:preferences#search and select your default search engine there by pressing the dropdown. If you're specifically looking for a private search engine, then DuckDuckGo is a great pick, and works well with Firefox.

As for the Gmail account issue, have you tried going to https://google.com/, hitting the lock icon on the address bar, clicking "Clear cookies and site data...", and then pressing "Remove"? Let us know if that helps.

Firefox itself is a web browser as the company Mozilla does not have their own search engine.

You can use whatever search engine you want in Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-or-remove-search-engine-firefox

Also by the way, typing in all Caps is the internet version of shouting/yelling at people ;)
