email account login issues
hello, we have email with tpg. i am attempting to log in with the master email address which is working fine, but when i attempt to add in the individual email addresses i keep getting a error msg that it is unable to login at server. i contacted tpg and have been using the settings they provided but it is still not working
Chosen solution
what settings did TPG provide? I would assume they are these https://www.tpg.com.au/support/generalsetting.php The total lack of connection encryption would put them in the lowest band regarding security. But it should make configuration simpler
My guess is you will need to click the configure manually shown in blue below
Then insert your TPG username at the bottom, otherwise the username will be assumed to be the email address.

Hey Matt, Those are the settings they provided and they work on the main email account, but don't work on the individual email addresses. It just comes back with authentication failed
Yes, but did you check the user name like I said?
Yes I did, it is still showing the same message
Thank you for your help and time! It looks like it is going to be easier to just set up a new email account and forward everything from my tpg account. I've read that to get it to work you basically have to have your security settings at zero and cannot upgrade to an IMAP account either, you have to cancel your entire plan with them to be able to do so.
