When I attempt to run Cox Contour I am presented with "Your system isn't compatible with Contour." However, I am running the latest Windows 10 Pro and Firefox 94.0.2. Contour runs fine under MS Edge and Google Chrome. I have already spoken to Cox, rebooted both Firefox and my PC, and verified that both Edge & Chrome can run Contour. Contour ran fine with Firefox two days ago, and I MUCH prefer Firefox to either Edge or Chrome.

Please advise.

Chosen solution

On 2 December, 2021, after checking on settings in Malwarebytes, CCleaner and Kamo, I uninstalled Kamo, then rebooted my PC and found that I could not run Cox Contour on my PC under Firefox, but that it still ran under Chrome and Edge. I then added "watchtv.cox.com/listings" to the Allow List under Malwarebytes. After rebooting my PC I found that I could still not run Cox Contour on my PC under Firefox, but that it still ran under Chrome and Edge. I concluded that there was no setting in my antivirus software apps that would effect Cox Contour not running under Firefox.

On 3 December, 2021, I discovered that Cox Contour now runs under Firefox, so this problem is solved, although I cannot say what solved it. :-)

Hello,

Your User Agent string is being modified, as it is non-default. (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0/98x5VrH9-13 instead of Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0)

I believe this is caused by an antivirus software. Please check your device for extra antivirus software or make an exception for Firefox.
