Unable to create folder in Thunderbird account
Hi I have been using Thunderbird for many years and I found it to be a really excellent email programme. However, after I recently upgraded to the newest version of Thunderbird I have found that the 'create new folder' option in my email accounts is no longer there. I am currently unable to use the right mouse button and therefore am unable to right click and then choose 'create a new folder'. This is a Microsoft problem and they have steadfastly ignored my requests for help! Is there any way at all that I can create a new folder in Thunderbird without right clicking? I have folders in all three of my email accounts within Thunderbird and couldn't live without them. Thank you very much for your help and your time, I very much appreciate it. Kind regards Guy Guy Merchant enquiries@bccsi.co.uk
Chosen solution
Select a folder or account in the Folder Pane, then File/New/Folder..., or click the 3-bar menu icon, New, Folder.
Press Alt if the Menu Bar with File is hidden.
If you can't access the right-click menu, replace the mouse.

Many thanks for the lightning response! Great to know that I can press ALT to reveal the hidden menu bar. Shame it had to be sacrificed in the new version of Thunderbird. However, works perfectly and I can, once again, choose 'new folder' once I have revealed the menu bar. Cheers Guy
