Synced Bookmark Favicons

I installed Firefox Android on my phone and synced with my Desktop Bookmarks. They all imported, but with generic favicons. As I open each site from the bookmarks, some (less than half) will cause the correct favicon to replace the generic one in the bookmark list. Another, very time consuming, way to do this is to open the site and re-bookmark it. The problem there is that Firefox Android puts the bookmark out of the order I want and, AFAIK, cannot reorder the bookmarks and that has to be done in a desktop browser and syncing back and forth. I don't want to screw up my desktop bookmarks by syncing with the phone.

Perhaps someone has a quick fix for this. It is not a major problem, I guess I can live with some generic bookmark favicons. More hopefully, someone can put this on a list of future fixes, including the ability to re-order bookmarks in Android.

Hi

The favicons images are not picked up by Firefox Sync, only the bookmark address and name is. The favicons may be picked up as you browse, however I do know that our developers are doing further work on favicons and this is something that may be improved further in future updates.

Thanks. Firefox for Android should have correct favicons, as other browsers from small software companies can do them. Glad they are working on it.
