pdf files used to open automatically in foxit, but now forces download first. Is this a Firefox, Foxit, or Win 10 problem?
When i download a pdf document from a website there used to be an option to open (in Foxit) or download. I suspect that the Win10 May '19 update may have changed this, because all pdf files have to be downloaded. Is this something to do with Firefox, Foxit or Windows? I have looked at the article on the built-in Firefox pdf reader, but cab find nothing on my screen to operate this?

Hi John, this article describes where you can select "Preview in Firefox" for the built-in reader, or select an application to handle PDFs: View and edit PDF files using Firefox’s built-in viewer.
Were you able to change from Save File to Use Foxit?
Note that some servers do not properly identify PDF files as the "application/pdf" type, so Firefox makes you decide what to do with them every time. More comments on that if needed.

Did you check on the settings for Foxit as a preference in the O/S setting to read and open pdf files? Foxit isn't a firefox software.

Yes, Foxit is set as my default pdf reader. I shall contact them to follow up. However, i cannot find the built-in Firefox pdf reader. Can you point me in the right direction to access it? Thanks
Also make sure there isn't a update to FoxIt as well that could also be part of it.
