SearchLock isn't from Firefox but it's a FIrefox add on. SearchLock also has a Chrome extension counterpart.

Is it safe? Yes, it is. SearchLock can be easily uninstalled like any other Firefox add on and does only what it says it does: blocks trackers from tracking your searches.

Well not from Mozilla directly but it is a third-party Firefox extension as you can see at https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchlock/

How do I un-install searchlock?

You can uninstall extension via the about:addons page ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions)
