It's not the post office because chrome and that crappy explorer on this thing work. my firefox updated and stinks- won't run many sites not just this one. I have uninstalled and reinstalled- still same problem . Yes, I have McAfee running- no I don't go to dark sites that I know of. I am throwing up my hands as I use firefox synced across multiple devices!

Sorry, this seems to be going around. Firefox is giving OCSP errors on various sites that use the Akamai content distribution network:
As a temporary workaround, you can disable OCSP stapling. With that change, instead of Firefox expecting sites to provide an OCSP certificate -- a verification that its certificate has not been revoked -- Firefox will query the service provider that signed the certificate. This is good for security but not the best arrangement for privacy, because the service provider knows a computer at your IP address is checking out that site. So after you finish using USPS, you can switch the setting back.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste ocsp and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling preference to switch the value from true to false

It was primarily the USPS site prompting the error.I found the solution to work and actually speed up my PC that auto-updated windows 10 less than 24 hours prior overnight. With MCAFEE TOTAL PROTECTION RUNNING WITH SAFE BROWSING, Windows Defender "on, " the deeper queshave no problem with the Post Office "seeing" that I visit their site because I HAVE been having snail mail delivery problems. I'd be changing this value a few times a day.
