parent.lock file not being deleted on exit in v. 45.6.0

Hi, it seems that the parent.lock file in the default profile folder isn't getting deleted on exit as it should be, is there any way to see why this is happening?

is Thunderbird actually completely closing down? check in task manager for a Thunderbird process.

Yes, it's closing down completely, the application isn't listen in Task Manager.
