My email account is at @etu.uni-tours.fr i cant add it to my email archives and i tried manual setting and it didnt work. How to make it work?

I've downloaded thunderbird to use multiple email accounts. My outlook account, at @windowslive.com seems to work perfectly.
The second email account at @etu.univ-tours.fr , doesn't work automatically so i tried doing it manually. i changed the setting to pop3 along with various other parameters but none seem to be working.
Please if you can provide me with the solution so i can add my second email account and work with thunderbird.

If you are a student, I'm not certain that pop is available. Looking on the internet/google I see reports that students do not have the option of pop, only imap.
Imap Incoming Server name: imapetu.univ-tours.fr Port: 993 Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication Method: Normal Password UserName is either full email address or etu number + letter t (20901234t)
Outgoing Server name: smtp.univ-tours.fr Port : 587 Connection Security: STARTTLS Authentication Method: Normal Password UserName is either full email address or etu number + letter t (20901234t)
