Signature replaced with "PK"?

Followed all the steps as detailed in Thunderbird Help to create a signature. But when select Write to compose a new email, the signature appears briefly then disappears and is replaced by two dashed lines and the letter PK.

Any suggestions??

Sounds like your signature included CSS or tables that make it not display more than the text PK, which I assume it in your signature file somewhere.
