Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page. How do I get rid of this???

more options

Every time I try to go to another page or hit continue on a page I get the following sentence at the top of the page: "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page". And to the right I have to click allow. When I am purchasing an item on a page, by the time I hit "allow at the top of the page, the page times out and I can advance my purchase. This is very frustrating! Please assist.

Is this on your Mac or on an iPad/iPhone? I'm going to assume Mac and if that's correct we can move this question to the "desktop" Firefox questions area. Try editing your preferences. Either:
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • type or paste about:preferences in the address bar and press Return
In the left column, click Advanced. On the right side, with the "General" mini-tab active, uncheck the box for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page" if it is checked. By the way, this is an accessibility feature intended for users of screen reading software and not a general-purpose tool of value to most users.

Okay, now what's the solution for a PC that uses Windows 7?

Hi DottyGma2015, it's nearly exactly the same.

This is handy thing to know when you see any tips for MacOS:

Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences

Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options

I think you can take it from there using the previously posted steps.
