When I open one e-mail, Thunderbird opens all e-mails from that person.

I want to stop Thunderbird from opening all old e-mails from the same address as the new e-mail I'm opening. I've tried K and shift + K but all that does is prevent threads from displaying in the INBOX. I just want to open one e-mail at a time.

I didn't think Thunderbird could do this. Many users would pay money for that feature.
