It doesnt always happen, but sometimes when i click on an image (especially within google images, facebook or reddit) it decides to try and open them in fullscreen. everything goes black and it attempts to load the image as if i were within the "slideshow" mode. This doesnt even always work, leading to an error message on a black screen. It is really interfering with my work as well as my browsing experience. Making me open images via "open in new tab" in order to prevent this from happening.
Is there any setting i can easily access in the about:config to stop this from happening?
I have attached an image of what happens when i just click on something in google images.
thank you in advance.

You can toggle dom.disable_window_open_feature.* prefs to true on the about:config page to prevent websites from disabling new window features.
