how do I become administrator

I run win8.1 and when I run spybot and fix the problems, it keeps telling me that I need to be the admin to complete the fix. How do I become the admin?

Also, the plugin shockwave flash15.0r0 keeps giving me a pop-up to either stop it or continue. Can I fix that? I have tried to download flashplayer but it won't get to step 3. I've done a system restore and it didn't help at all. Thanks, Marge
