Thunderbird is downloading the same email over and over again, how can I stop this?
an email was sent to me containing photos......and continually downloads over and over. Each time I delete it it seems to add it back to be downloaded again?

Disable your anti virus email scanning feature and download your mail. Then re-enable it.
What anti virus are you using?

I have superspyware free addition, malwarebytes free edition, microsoft security, and mcafee on the system but don't know how to check which one if any is connected to thunderbird....where do I look
When downloading the duplicate emails it is very slow and on;y downloads one a t a time

I deleted the email that kept down loading into thunderbird from web based email and it solved the problem of the continual download.
