how can I suppress a certain pop-up window containing a video

edg2

I'm using Firefox on my Android phone. I am looking for an extension that will suppress the little video in the screenshot that I will append to this question. I already have adguard and ublock but they don't seem to catch this. I wouldn't be as intent on suppressing it if the close box actually worked. Can somebody recommend an extension that can suppress something like this?

This forum is for desktop installations on laptop etc.

See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/mobile

for Android

I have dealt with something similar there

Selecting support on Android landed me here. I will certainly copy my posting and post it where you suggested. I wish that mobile Firefox had landed me in the right area.

OK will see if I can find my post about popups in Android :)

Yes some links seem to misdirect.

Anyway I couldn't find my post there but did find this which I think I used

On top " Ask a Question > Firefox for Android > Ask a Question " should post the thread in Firefox for Android section.

I moved this thread from Firefox (for desktop) to Firefox for Android section.

Thank you for moving the thread. Perhaps I will actually find someone who knows the answer :-)

Hi,

You can block elements manually with AdGuard (and I'm pretty sure with uBlock as well) – have you tried that?
