How do I correct a secure connection failure message?
Since we had service to our router and modem, I have been receiving a notice "Secure Connection Failed" whenever I click on a link. It states that something is too long. What can I do to resolve this situation as some of the links are important. I would appreciate your help. Thanks!

Does it say SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG perhaps? Do you use any VPN?
It usually means there's something intervening along the way, and trying to stuff insecure content into a secure connection.
Wish I had better recommendation, but just look for any "web protection" or "safe browsing" features you can disable in your antivirus/malware security software, turning off VPNs and proxies, when you mention "we had service to our router and modem" make sure there was not some "security" feature added that would be trying to upgrade the connections but resulting in broken SSL.
If you use Private Window for the links, the error is the same I guess. If this is a portable device, have you tried connecting it via a different network, like at a neighbor's or a café? Or if you have the ability to tether to your phone for mobile data hotspot, to see if avoiding your home router makes any difference?
The Secure connection and security warning error pages in Firefox article may help. See the Secure Connection Failed section.
